I'm not sure yet as I have only done three test on three different razors so far, a Gotta that I took from Norton 8K to the LM and a vintage Dovo and a W&B where I used the DT between Naniwa 8K and the LM.
To me it might seem as the DT is the one pushing the sharpness, both the Dovo and the W&B got extremely sharp and smooth, while the Gotta didn't get quite as sharp.
But that might also have been caused by me diluting too fast or too slow.Need help or tutoring? Check out the .

I've done some limited testing so far - I've re-honed already well shaving razors on these hones, to recreate the polish. I've shaved off the edges of all 3 hones. The DT surely gives a nice sharp edge, but I have found the LM to increase the sharpness, and the dark green/grey black hone to increase it further. My razors were finished on a variety of finishers before the welsh slates, I only redid the polishing. In a regular honing progression I suppose I'll be using all three in succession.
I like the DT far more than I thought I would, and can shave happily off of it. That being said, I find the LM to give a significantly better edge. In a progression, the DT is really nice, and seem to me one of the most price-savvy alternatives out there.
