    I think were spliting hairs here. The seller never said it was a natural combo. He says it was glued togethe and the pictures clearly shows it.

    Please let us know how it works. After reading this thread, I saw the stone on the bay and the ad indicates they come already lapped and that one side is about 8-10k and the other side is 12-15K--if I'm thinking about the same stone about which you are writing.

    Maybe we could all follow the same routine. Or as close to it as much. All 3 shave off the finisher. No crox or stropping. Honing on the stone how ever we feel but keep track.

    thats funny. i dont see it as misleading it's two natural hones that are glued together. i wasnt implying that mother nature combined them man did by gluing them together.

    I have to say that I have original glued combo of TOS and what looks like Canadian Oilstone by Salmens.
