2 things are strange here.

1) Why would he jump from 6k to these stones? Couldn't he go a little higher before testing these?

2) He doesn't mention any use of slurry.

Unlike that thread that seems to tell people to avoid buying the stones, I, personally, am convinced of my LM, if used in the conditions I mentioned above:

"- Use more laps with slurry than without
- You can use oil or glycerin instead of plain water. Some might say that this enhance the sharpness and smoothness of the edge. Personally I haven't found a significant difference, but like I said, we're still playing with this
- It's OK to jump from a 8k stone to these. I personally go from the Naniwa 8K or Coticule straight to the LM and have gotten good results. If you got the 3, start with the DT, then the LM, then the Welsh-thuringian (or whatever you guys call it)"

What do you guyd think?
