@ Walt... The short answer is I'm an intuitive/impatient clicker just clicking quickly until I get a result that works. I did poke around a bit and every time I clicked from inside my Account it gave a list similar to yours but it was all text and no thumbnails/pics. Your link is definitely better so I will keep working on that. Thanks for the heads-up!

@ lz6... Duly noted. I don't know if we should hash it all out in this Thread but if either you or Pixelfixed wouldn't mind shooting me a PM to give me a bit more detail/information on your opinion I'd certainly take into consideration anything either of you have to say. This is just a step in my process and I hope not to make it an annoying thing at all as I figure I can leap-frog posting stuff Classifieds here then sell then lockout and during the lockout here post on eBay, etc, etc. If this turns out to be something more consistent and workable I will absolutely get that Vendor Badge but I'm sure that would involve getting a website and all the details involved with that. And, I'm just not quite there yet.

I've gone through a similar route when I was building Golf Clubs... Learned Online, bought the tools, bought the parts, built my set (awesome), built my wife's set (even more awesome), built some for family then got business cards/logo and started to market a bit, did a handful of jobs and then the market simply fell apart... So, now I've got all the skill and some particular/specific technique to the way I build/set-up and there is no further for me to go as I'll never have large enough capital to do anything big and the large manufacturers are simply too dominant in the marketplace but moreso in marketing.

So, just trying to take baby steps... One at a time.

Thanks for all the information/opinions... I definitely listen!

Is a great writup in the vendor section I believe about becoming a vendor, there are qualifications that have to be met such as a Brick and morter store or a website.I have often thought about becoming a vender.I do have a little website to display my items.
Still do not think I could meet the standards to become a vendor tho, good luck in what you do.
My post above was not meant to be critical,I just have an aversion to people doing so.
When I cannot post my items on SRP,I also go to the bay, just never advertize it.thats just my way.

@ Pixelfixed... Thanks, and that makes sense. I just wanted to make sure and cover my bases and understand as much as I can. I reviewed the Vendor Criteria and, yep, that is a bit of a tall order for sure; at least from my position. No concerns about criticism whatsoever and I didn't read that into your reply... I just realize that with Forums like this that have been around awhile that there can be the "thing" that happened way back when and there was a lot of energy behind it and sometimes, like with a post like mine, it brings up similar energy. I just don't want to have a lot of people associating my current actions with drama from the past cause I have no clue; I'm just seeking information. No worries at all but I'm an information nut so if someone has an opinion I am all for hearing the deep and wide part of it... I guess that is perhaps more my affliction than my way but I'm functional with it.

@ Walt... I found it under "Advanced". So, uhm, yeah, with computers in general I would never associate myself with Advanced 'anything' and had been completely oblivious to that button until I was searching for just how you got that link. Very cool and way cleaner of a link. I also don't know how to do that hyperlink/word thing like yours but I can figure that out down the road.

Shawn, IMHO I do not believe that members should advertise/promote their ebay sales on SRP. I understand the posting sales rule that will block posting additional sales for a period of time here. Whether I agree with that particular restriction on our member's sales or not is irrelevant as it is the rule.
I strongly believe that as a member of this forum we have an obligation to allow our members a shot at anything we sell
before taking other methods to sale that are available to us. I do not even care for the cross posting of a members items on
B&B and on SRP at the same time, imho. All of this is my opinion and other member's opinions may vary.

I have a foot on each side of the line. I myself sell from time to time. Both here, and on the bay. i dont do it often. But when I do, I like having the option of being able to say "Hey Guys, I am selling some stuff, you might want to take a look"

BUT... i do NOT think its ok to use this place to actively be a sales source. The whole reason for the limit on classified ads (as far as I know) is to prevent a person from flooding the place with the entire stock from his antique mall, or what ever.
If your plan is to use the site to make money reselling then I am against it. If you are simply thinning the herd while getting your feet back under you, I see no problems with it. To keep it neater, when I have had a bunch of razors on the bay, I simply posted a single time, with a link to a single auction, and made sure to point out people might want to check my other listings for more items. Good luck with it all

The vast majority of the members here will see your ebay items without a link.

This is a full and warranted steel truth!
I will admit a willingness to bid higher on items from people I know and trust from this site. (why I liked the list of members ebay names)

This might just be my not knowing how to do something on this site or on eBay, but, how would people here know about my posts on eBay; if they didn't know my eBay username, that is? I wasn't around when that "eBay Usernames" thing was still live so I'm not on it that I know of.

I'm not so curious as a way to get my username out there but if there were a way I could isolate all/majority of eBay items to those posted by Members here it would absolutely make a huge difference in how I approach eBay in general... And, that would be a very good thing!

Probably more stuff under 'Advanced', right?

Thanks everyone for the time you've taken to comment or answer questions! Lots of food for thought!
