Final Update

Time has run out for returns on the razor. As much as he complained that I shipped him a broken item, and asked for me to work with him on a refund of some of the monies, he never shipped the razor back, and he never filed a claim with Ebay or Paypal. I can only assume that he knew he would not get away with it once I had the razor in my hands to examine, and so decided to quit while he was ahead.
While I am sad for the razor, I am happy that in the end, I did NOT get shafted!
