Beautiful, i like the fact that its huge, but looks like at least a 3/4 hollow grind. Really is the type of razor i want to find.
As for value, guess the best way to put it is, would you rather have that, or a REALLY nice mastro livi custom. or heck like 3 hart razors!

Thanked: 4822Thanks thisisclog. I doubt I need any enabling, but I think I'm in good company on that one. The razor in the original post is a beauty for sure.

Hi Razorfeld - an arrangement was made between gentlemen!!
It's a stunning razor, absolutely beautiful, going to shave with it later this evening.
I've always wanted one, so I figured the hassle of trying to find a nice one (luck of the E-Bay), probably having to have it restored with new scales or just restored, plus the honing costs, toss in all the shipping involving that and the time to do all this stuff, it made acquiring this razor make much more sense.
I'm glad I did, the horn scales are beautiful, it's a big hunk of Sheffield steel, full hollow, the nicest razor I own.
Another hour or two, and we'll see how it does on three day's of beard...can't wait.

If it doesn't sing with a full contralto soprano tone demand your money back or a re hone to tune it properly. Being a 9/8 it would not be a lyric soprano because of the size. Post the results please.
