    An edge like that is warped because the edge is stretched. I don't think it would be possible to straighten. Likely the only way to salvage it would be to hone past the warped steel. From the look of it I would guesstimate close to 20% of the blade. It would have to go veerrryyy cheap and be a project razor.

    i believe it can be honed out
    starting at a 5/8 to a corn razor maybe nothing worth while with scales there either

    It would be interesting if someone could do some tests and over heat some crap razor on the buffer and see what it looks like.
