Man, A lot of negativity on this thread. I know I'm in the minority but I really like the look of that razor. I typically buy razor with much more classic attributes but nothing wrong with something a lil out of the box. I have a mixture of foreign and domestic razors and I find that the shave quality has more to do with my technique and the person who hones the razor than were it is made. Ive seen many people really enjoy their Hart razors. We should be appreciating the work done with the razor. Why assume this razor came from a mistake or mishap? Its not like Hart is making junk pakistan quality stuff.

I'm not normally a Hart fan but I like the distressed look of both blade and scales. Lest just put this down to personal preference rather than rubbish the make.

May be when you've been at this for longer than 2 months and have gotten proficient with technique, and are good enough at honing that you can extract the best edge a razor is capable of, may be then you'll start noticing the difference due to the razor.
At this time of your journey though, you are dealing with so many variable you not only are unable to control, but probably don't even have idea they exist, that frankly your day-to-day shaving experience is more a matter of luck than anything else.

While all you say is true I think the negative is more aesthetics than anything else. It may be a fine razor it just looks like a junk copy. The value is in the eye of the bidder.

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

    http://www.lewisrazors.com/

I knew I'd seen something similar in a YouTube video and I missed the cue when someone posted something about Lewis Razors.

Now I get where people are coming from more... I was also kinda clueless as to the direction the replies were going but it makes more sense now.

For me it was just an ignorance thing... I remembered seeing something similar "somewhere" but had no idea where so just thought the style cues and overall look, aside from the Bow Point, were really cool.

And, now I know where to find them! It is the textural cues with the Lewis Razors that are so different and I appreciate that. With a terminal case of RAD I pretty much like all SR's but, once in a while you see something that really jumps out as unique and gives you that little, ".. wow..", feeling.
