Thread: Dubl duck "best quality"?

I saw this one not listed as a duck. Any idea if it is real? Never seen one like it before and ive searched all the threads i can.

It looks nice, but I have never heard of a DD best quality. The link didn't work for me so I had to type in the item number.

Im not sure how to insert the link the right way. I cant tell what the tang says in the first pic, i think it says satin edge but not sure. And ducks on both sides of tang. Never seen that before. Its just weird.

The etch doesn't match the tang stamp. It makes me think that someone out that on long after the fact. However I am not the all knowing so perhaps its all suppose to be together. If it is then this must be a very rare razor

So this is a "duck" i may try to get this one just cause its a full blade. I see little use or wear. Bet its a good shaver! I will try to get it since it dosent look like anyone else is interested.

Before Pearlduck there were many strange razors sold by Bresnick but that pretty much ended when Pearlson took over the outfit and he sold all the familiar models until he incorporated Beau Brummel. It's possible it's old stock but they definitely do exist. Maybe he did a limited buy from Dovo or someone else.

don't be too quick to pass judgement, look at the feedback and read it first. seller had 1 neg out of 30 fb, 29/30 would be impossible to have better than 96.6%, could have been a nasty buyer, haha. when theres neg feedback I try to read comment and original description, new or used item, and determine for myself if it looks like a picky buyer or dishonest seller.
as for the razor, looks legit. not sure if the box could have been swapped out but the razor looks mighty fine!

It is a Dovo Best quality blade, stamped DD for DD at the end of their SR lifetime, it is NOT a "Put Together" it is a Duck made by Dovo, they are a little rare but they are well documented...
