Thanked: 44Well I'm learning the game and sniping does appear to be the name of the game..... Sadly IMO.
3rd party sniping scripts however are a totally different matter and I personally don't think they should be allowed (if indeed they are allowed, I would think policing that would be almost impossible anyway)
Sooooooo what about the razor I did manage to snaffle. Would anyone have any info on it. I'm not interested in what its worth but I am interested in its date, origins etc. Thank you in advance for any info

Sellers canceling bids for better offers and people lowballing unknowing sellers is underhanded. IMHO. This is why I will often quickly place minimum bids on items, especially 'hot' items I don't even want, and sometimes it works..
I like a level playing field. If a seller lists an item as BIN undervalued, that is on them.

Well, it doesn't matter to the seller whether it is you who bought it or somebody else - he knew he has a buyer willing to take it for $100, and if somebody else does it before them he still got the sale.
Did you tell him you'd have paid $150 or $200 if he'd have made sure he sold it to you
More money is pretty much the only incentive to prefer one buyer over another, but then he may have decided to just let it run and could've gotten the $300+ market price.
