Yes, was jut going to say, click on your bid, select Learn More About Bidding, and then pick Bid Cancellation. In this case, I would select seller changed the description, close enough, but I always make sure I do that and it usually instantly cancels it...if you get within 12 hours of the ending of the auction though, you're outta luck.

What 10pups said is another alternative. Since technically ebay supposedly won't allow you to cancel/retract your bid except in specific circumstances, like "entered wrong bid amount," you can ask the seller to cancel your bid. They don't have to, but usually will. Sellers that know the ropes don't like canceled bids, because even if you don't show up in the bid history after canceling, your retracted bid shows up at the bottom of the bid history page. Might spook other buyers into thinking there is something wrong with the item.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanks - I did not know that.

As a courtesy then in the future, I will contact the seller first...learn something new everyday!
