Yep. It'll shave once honed. It depends on ones preference. I doubt any of us would buy it but the seller may still see some potential in it & hates to throw it away knowing it will still shave but it has a ton of miles on it like Tom pointed out. It looks like a seller from across the pond on the west side & if someone wants to shave with a straight but their budget won't allow them to spend much more then there's his or her pigeon!

    Nice scales, however!
Nice scales pity about the rest

It will have a big wide bevel for sure, but it's a Henckels so once honed I'm sure the shave will be fine.

    Such a good guy....Always looking at the....er....Positive!

It IS sort of a skinny wedge as I see it!

Seriously, though. I would bet it has lost all of it's personality, shavewise. Seems frowning as well.
Better than a Titan, I suppose!

I consider this to be a Henckels Friodur with moderate hone wear. Just Me!

There are just too many nice ones out there now to even consider a worn one. JMO

I think it i an 11V. It is a fairly heavily built 6/8 1/4 hollow. They shave well, at least the really nice ones. ;-)

Sorry, My Friend....I was implying it had been honed into a skinny wedge!

I can see a Japanese barber sitting in his chair, chatting along whist rubbing that thing the whole time.

I feel he was eventually making a Kamisori of it. Starting to resemble one!
How else do you do that?

One thing I think we all should be able to agree upon is that Henckels always are shavers.
Unless worn, rusted and busted until totaled.

It's got built in fish hooks. That way if they aren't biting, you can shave & it'll bite you!

This reminds me of a guy that wanted to sell his car on a second hand site. I have tried to translate his description.

''The old lady is NOW for sale! My old Citroen Xsara, which I believe is almost too good to sell. She has about 18 months till inspection and she starts every single day. The bastard has shiny aluminum rims and i’ve tossed some sun film on the windows myself which is still stuck in my hair. Well it all sounds great but hold on it's getting better.

She have had the oil changed regular, so if you give her a liter pr 3000 kilometers, she’s good to go. She can run approximately 14 kilometers on a liter of the arabics juice.

If you’re thinking of buying it for your wife, I can guarantee you that she won’t run away with the smart guy from your neighborhood, because she’s after all marked by the ravages of time.

If you find yourself on the way to the eastern islands you can make a quick stop within a second with the aggressive ABS breaks.

At the moment she has some troubles with the exhaust. I find it good cause it leaves you with no doubt that she’s running. Otherwise you can find a mechanic apprentice, thats willing to spoon her for a couple of hours with co2 welder, that will do the trick.

For a year ago she almost emptied for oil, so don’t count on that she will have the greatest careers on the highway.

There was a time when she had a towbar and could drive with even the biggest trailer you could imagine. Since we love to salt the roads, she got all rusty. But theres still attached a tap, so that you can mount rack for your iron horse.

She was born with 90 wild horses but at least 10 of them has jumped over the fence and run away.

This car is for you that needs a cheap one, that holds space for a kids football team, if you have had problems with birth control in your youth.

I know I won’t get 6000 crowns for her. I will have better luck trying to put out the fire in hell.

Call and we’ll figure it out''
