When that happens, I will look at the sellers other items & if they don't normally sell straight razors plus sell all kinds of things, then they probably didn't know about it. I am pretty good spotting a cracked blade in a pic but I have been bit also. It will usually be seen on both sides of the blade. If they sell all sorts of things, I pm them & explain the issue & most of the time, they will refund your money back. If they want you to pay return postage, just click on item not as described & eBay will provide you the postage.
If the seller sells other straights & it happens, they are usually good about refunding your money. Sometimes they miss things.

I was thinking the same thing. Either way it'll get resolved. [emoji106] [emoji1]

Sweet outcome, the way it should be, now grind all the cracks away, and you will have an usable razor.

With those cracks, if it doesn't shatter during the grinding process, it'll only have enough metal left to be: a usable, oddly shaped snurdler made* by Fredrick Reynolds.

*= originally made as a razor.

You can open a beer bottle with a shave ready razor. Why would you want to use one with cracks?

If he gives you the refund then that's a solid seller who deserves some kudos.
