A lot of flippers just shoot from the hip on everything and wait for a hit.

I am sure Outback would make it as good as new, but the price is a bit steep.
Anyone heard from Jimmy Had.
Is he still on the grassy side...I hope..
JimmyHAD posted on the Shave Nook (IIRC) before it went down, maybe DFS. I seem to remember something about him passing but not sure
I thought I remembered that also but didn't want to speak out of turn. I searched the Hall of Remembrance and didn't see a thread with his name. Maybe Jerry will chime in. He seems to have his ear to the track on these things.
Found him posted on DFS Oct 10th. So he is on the grassy side. Just not around these parts in many years.
As far as Im aware Jimmy left when the site changed hands.
I noticed an eBay member with the nickname Petronea.

Terrible razors with non-original etching
In addition, he counterfeits razors using etching, anyone with eyes and experience will see this, but others should also be warned

Wowsers, I saw the masonic ones and thought to myself something's off with those.. now looking at he's other razors they mostly look dodgy... Scamming people on straights who'd of thought it.
Another funny case with the same seller.
I first bought this razor for $32, but the seller refused to ship it, he just returned the money to me after I contacted him.
The link still works

Later Petronea did a freak etching with two Masonic circles on each side and a FBU mark. He was able to sell the razor a second time for $150+ https://www.ebay.com/itm/305262816143

And now, the price is 600 dollars

Be careful not to buy these razors from Petronea and Johnloc1.
This is a recent unoriginal etching, simply a fake. Share this post with your friends who collect old razors in one way or another, in the case of the first seller this is a deception, in the case of the second it is at least incompetence
I thought Johnloc1 had an established reputation. Don't know the other guy. You sure it is fake? I notice you have only made three posts on this forum.
This is an original Wade and Butcher blade that received some artisanal etching last month. This is an original blade, without a doubt. The impact mark on the tang is original, yes. The FBU etcht is not original, both Masonic etch are also not original. https://www.ebay.com/itm/305229005511 This is what this razor looked like in October. This is exactly her. Not similar, but exactly her.
People seem to like him, and he has some interesting razors. I had one not-so-great experience with him probably 7-8 years ago (razor not as described) and never went back.
It looks like the same razor to me but has been buffed up, its got the same marks. The for barbers use stamp looks way to new and not the correct font, one that seems way off. And the masonic etching just looks weird. I can't quite believe someone would go to all this effort.
I've screen grabbed and screen recorded both listings. Has anyone sent him a message?
Not eNay, but Yahoo Japan. Bid to win guys, the last natural stone in Japan! Uh huh ….
If this is the last one, then obviously nobody wanted it, so I don't want it, either.
