"Never used", but you can see the dishing on both sides in the side view.

Never Used??? The factory's QA team must have been away that day....

On another note. There is a hoarder who runs an antique shop in a town near me called Morpeth (the town that is, IDK the name of the shop).

Anyway, I went in there one day having a poke and found some old scuttles. They seemed in fair condition, so I made a low offer on all 3 expecting to her to haggle up and we would meet in the middle somewhere decent. Anyway, she took them all away and told me that they were no longer for sale and that I wasn't welcome.

Yes just like a literally no name hardware store razor listed as "no stamp, maybe Wade and Butcher". Absolutely no integrity in these people and they hide their deception with a facade of ignorance in their disclaimers.

If people bought on eBay like it was intended originally...you enter your max bid and then walk away, and the person willing to pay the most got the item. It's an auction where you don't have to keep bidding. But with people bidding only in the last few seconds to keep the price down, there's no incentive for the seller to start at a low price. It makes more sense to start the bidding at the minimum price you'd accept for the item, and let the bidders fight from there.

A different auction site found the solution to this; the auction had an end time, but if a bid was placed in less than 10 minutes prior to the end, the auction would extend another 10 minutes, and so on until no new bids were placed for 10 minutes. It would be interesting to see what would happen if eBay tried it.
