Oh crap! He got us again! I didn't realize it until you replied & I saw the pic I posted from the auction. The seller is [he who shall not be named], the same one that frequently shows up in this thread, and also sells lady-boy undies...

Thanked: 237My thoughts are he came into a very large number of razors, thousands if not tens of thousands. Yes some are worn, well used, and not worth much. However, I've purchased and seen many he has sold that are barely used, many of which are very high quality and rare brands. Not sure what the issue is with the tungsten razor, but his auctions start at under $10, so I don't think there's any shame involved in any razors he has for sale. The lady boy stuff might be a different story...

You should avoid this seller at all costs. And not because of sissyboy panties. Case in point:

To me, the undies are viewed as "your preferences have no bearing on me. It's like P.D.A.: ya don't like it, just look away!"
And as for the razors... yes, they are numerous in his store. But he has used trick photography and even Photoshop to hide flaws in the razors. So it's a roll of the dice on even his listings that that don't look like a complete dumpster fire.Decades away from full-beard growing abilities.

Thanked: 4826I started that thread. My biggest beef is that I am absolutely certain that the razor I received was not the one in the ad. Mistakes happen. However he never responded to a single email after the sale. Ebay did refund me the money and I still got to keep the razor. I am not happy with bad communication, there are other sellers that I do not look at their ads because they don't communicate well either. This one was different, he responded quite quickly until the sale and then nothing. It left me feeling like he had swapped the razor on purpose. He has sold a lot of razors. I do check his ads every now and again just because he does have some nice looking razors. There have been other members that have had the same issues that I have had and others that have had nothing but good experiences. If you look at how much his razors sell for they seem to go very cheap, even the nice ones. It appears that there is a risk in doing business with him, however some people like risk, sometimes it pays.

Thanked: 237I think there's more at play. He simply has too many razors for sale to try and photoshop razors. Does he use poor angles and lighting to hide flaws, yes. He probably is no expert, and admits when he is wrong and resolves the issues on a case by case basis. I've bought several razors that were actually in better condition than they appeared in his pictures. I think a lot of people use their cell phones only, and need to start using computer monitors to view pictures before bidding. I know because I am guilty of this, and have learned never to bid until I look at the pictures on a full size computer screen. I've seen countless 8/8 filarmonicas, h k diamond, heljestrand, friodur, etc razors that were in excellent condition sell way below what they should have from this seller. I'd say use caution, but no reason to avoid completely.
