If Glen restored that razor, it's a perfectly legitimate reference.. even inspiring confidence. Nicely done by Glen, it has a lot of character. The scales are beautiful, too. The bevel is nice, even and looks clean. I am sure if it hasn't been used, it may well still be shave-ready. The starting price isn't ridiculous and yes, since I may have seen that kind of W&B once, or twice in the last few years, I would say it is rare indeed. IMHO, there's no shame in that one.

I am interested to hear exactly what it is, that makes you say it's a low quality razor.

On the other hand, the seller you advertised does sell some good looking blades and no doubt they are shave-ready. Their auctions start up a bit too high for my taste, but hey....

Someone from this forum trying their luck on a Wade & Butcher... Even using Glen (gssixgun) as part of the description.

I wanna say shame on them, then I think good luck to them! But then I really think shame on them, making the most of us out to be pilferers of low quality razors at high prices.

On another note, if you want really high quality razors at *reasonable* prices (reasonable in that they are all high quality, so you pay a bit more check these out <<snip snip>> Always top quality razors from this eBayer but not a user of this forum he informed me.
