Hmmm... there is a possibility that what appears to be a heel-hook, could actually be a visual artifact. A reflection of grass, or trees? After all, the bevel would reflect light (and thus partial image) at a different angle from that of the belly of the blade.

The image is either not captured in a fine enough quality setting, or high enough resolution, or the camera is not on a tripod. So I am basically just playing "Devil's Advocate".

But it is a bit of a shame that the slight smile has been honed out.

It looks almost straight but I see a heel hook also so that to me would be more of a frown. Just sayin'.

Yeah, well if you had to hone “thousands” of razors and still make the time to photograph, post them on the Bay, sell, pack, send off... maybe you wouldn’t be so concerned about a wee heel hook, Mister. [emoji12]

(Ooops perhaps overdosed on sarcasm in a single post, I better not see another today.)

Sure, It is a great razor in mint condition, but the same razor could be bought from very reputable vendor for third of the price.

Yep, jimps are what they meant. I guess they just auto-translated it from German.
