    Except they do have them ... There is something branded a trust and safety team at ebay

    Yeah, but that doesn't help the people who don't realize he is doing it. That is certainly a step though. Less bidders, less $$.

    These days I always sift through to see who is pulling garbage before I decide to bid.

    Not so much when you have some fake who puts up say a 125 bid when a blade is at 70 because the seller wants 130 and a person who snipes tends to snipe with a hard bid because you only have one chance to brute force it. If a real auction house was discovered to have their own ppl in the crowd throwing bids all hell would break loose
