Thanked: 3https://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Hor...QAAOSwPTZaDMbu
Hi I'm a newbie here. Is this an actual razor or did some enthusiastic person not get the memo on when to stop honing?

It’s a corn razor.

Gotta love all the "Antique,Vinatge" Sweeney Todd razors on the Bay
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 315The razor is vintage because they decided it is based off the book, not the movie.
And some of these razors must need a lot of packaging. Apparently some sellers need over $10 to ship a basic straight razor or other small item across the U.S.
I guess a $3 stamp from USPS with tracking isn't up to their standards.Last edited by JP5; 12-27-2017 at 03:17 PM.

Thanked: 481Its rare that a seller actually pisses me off. So perhaps he belongs here...
https://www.ebay.com/itm/large-colle.../222772258610?
A single photo, with every blade closed but one. No returns.... I wrote and asked
"Are any chipped, cracked, or broken?"
The response? "Some are, most are not"
The way I learned both math, and flimflam, "most" is anything more than 1/2
I could be wrong, and for whomever has bid on this lot's sake, I hope I am.
But to me thats shite.

Thanked: 481Not really. His policy is no returns, and nowhere does he make any claims to the condition of the razors. This is a true case of Caveat Emptor (Let the Buyer Beware)
Literally, if somebody decides to take the chance with this, and they dont like what they get, it will be a case of "buyers remorse" and Ebay will disallow that as a reason for a dispute.
