    I've seen SRP members do better work by hand. Even when I was making mistakes left and right I don't think I would have put a mirror finish on a blade like that. Makes it look like someone took a nail setter to it with the deep pitting and that finish.

    Seller claims scales are good. I sent them a PM a week ago to let them know the scales were rotting and would rust any blade they were put on. No response. Obviously that isn't his problem.
    I just hope a new SR enthusiast doesn't come across these and go, "wow! I'll clean those scales up and put them on the DD blade I spent hours cleaning up."
