    If you can hone to clean steel they can usually be salvaged, even if they aren't pretty. It looks like that one may have some deep pitting at the edge at the toe on one side that would be problematic.

    Definitely a good conversation piece.

    For a Case Temperite, no thank, not for a ridiculous price like that. The scales look shrunk but still fit.I have some blades I'd rather rescale.

    In Japan the word kamisori refers to any razor, even an electric. The asymmetric ground razors with no scales are more accurately called wa-kamisori.
