Ya, That must be the 'Axe Man' stone the competitive lumberjacks prefer to touch up their 'racing axes'.
Really popular with the guys down under, I seem to recall. Have seen them go upwards of 1k."Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."

I follow these hones as they appear, out of curiosity,,, I've been watching this one & think he will have a hard time getting the usual price on it based on the side shots of the stone. The finish is inconsistent. Another one recently sold , much better finish.

I don't know any more than you do, just that they have a reputation for a very sharp finish on racing axes like Tom said. I saw a, beat to hell one, with consistent finish break $800.00.
One with no chips consistent finish will beak $1,000.00

In the "Timber Sports" world they seem to be held in the highest regard...
Which would give you some idea of how sharp those axes are...
