rarity or not, they are less desirable than the Jose Monserrat Pou stamped filarmonicas of yesteryear.

That's basically the price they originally sold for under Ray before the price hike under the new ownership.
As always Lynn is spot on - they could be not the most fun to hone, but the steel is good and shave nicely.
