While I have gotten better at ebay, still a lot to learn.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

Thanked: 458I've bought all kinds of foreign stuff. If the item looks good and the price looks good and the seller's got some recent good feedback for similar items (and not of the type where they were inactive for 10 years and then sold two things, but consistent feedback including good recent feedback), then I buy.
I've never had anything that came internationally that wasn't what the seller said.
If an account is idle for a very long time and then suddenly has a bunch of sales, I don't buy. That might be old advice now, though, as I'd imagine ebay has probably stamped that kind of thing out. (those were usually compromised accounts where someone broke in and then used a dormant account to sell stuff).

I've had some fantastic deals on alternate eBay sites, recently with a couple of blades, but my best hit lately was an 8/8 Filarmonica Novodur for $140.00, beautiful blade, couldn't believe it:

Thats what the sidebar block has as well. When I put it up I updated it a bit because some of the filter phrases from 2009/2010 were no longer effective. I thought the full filter results was a more prominent link, but it looks to be the 'view all' at the bottom left of the block. May be somebody wants to play with CSS and create a more functional layout.
