Roy, took a bunch of buying and returning till I finally found a small amount of blades that fit. Lots out there in similar shape but the details of the back side of the cartridges differ. The head of the razor is designed to slide onto a new cartridge. Similar are designed to snap onto the head and cannot be slid on to the head.
You'd do better with an old Gillette and Astra Platinum blades for travel."The sharpening stones from time to time provide officers with gasoline."

Thanks Richard,
I have two DE's here at the Boars Nest that are available for travel, just always looking for something 'different' so to speak.
I doubt that King Gillette would have thought about this and neither did the company once it was established. But wouldn't it be very informative and educational if they had kept an example of every model of razor ever offered and were on display for the world to seeOur house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

Since the Universe revealed a bearded gentleman that hones for a hobby and doesn't shave I would think that there is a as yet unknown hairless wonder out there that has exactly what you are commenting on.
Will the non-hirsute gentleman please step forward and reward us with a glimpse of a section of recorded history, shaving section. Many pics more than appreciated."The sharpening stones from time to time provide officers with gasoline."
