    Funny that, if I knew it was a regrind I wouldn't want it at all, let alone north of five hundred smackers. The seller didn't have photos that could enlarge, and his description was minimal to say the least. Goes to show, if you've got the right item, no telling what it will bring.

    There are a few categories of razors that I see very little of, but they had to be around. Heavy grind American, French and German razors I do not see very often, especially not in large widths. They are our there and pop up here and there. This is an example of one, I am not really surprised that it went past my budget, but a little surprised out how far out of my budget it went.

    Sufferin' Succotash !! I just took another look at the photos .......... are those the original scales ? I don't think so. Another deal breaker for me ..... certainly at that price.

    If that were dead stock and clean it would have went for a hell of a lot more. Desirable maker.
