The blade is a piece of junk for the thrash can, so it's $65 for a pair of plain MOP scales that the reverse is not shown - could be worth if one is into that kind of thing and that kind of risk

Well, the state of the blade doesn't matter that much. I've plenty of nice old blades that would fit perfectly those scales (and so does the guy that bought it )

However, a solid pair of unbroken (said in the description) MOP scales is in my opinion much more precious and rare than any unusual blade.

But it's just my opinion (and I probably shouldn't say it too loud :P )
