Default Anyone else been watching this J Rodgers.

I didn't bid because it was already at more than what I'd be willing to pay for it yesterday but I like the look of it.

I'm a big fan of beveled spines and this one has a very interesting point.

I'm so depressed that I missed the Mappin in MOP............

Though it was ending later.......... Gone for nothing.......

(Yeah I know, I'd had sniped it, but with the ebay restrictions rules, in France we have to bid directly, the snips are canceled).

Yup, been watching. Just curious to see where it'll end. That grind on the nose looks like my lathe parting tool. Seller had a bunch of nice blades

I had not seen it. I'm glad you shared it. It is a most interesting piece, and I am suppose to be trying to reduce my collection right now. I'm glad I saw it after the fact.

That JR is quite a beauty.

A "smiling" blade is always a pleasure to shave with, they are great on the neck area.

I've seen my share of points and rodgers razors, but this one looks like a regular round point that was badly mangled.

To me it's as appealing as

Had to search for it and I think it's this one:

The blade is a piece of junk for the thrash can, so it's $65 for a pair of plain MOP scales that the reverse is not shown - could be worth if one is into that kind of thing and that kind of risk
