I do this with all the razors that I post on eBay. My last one was a Puma 6/8 with a starting bid of $9.99 that ended at $331.99.

I agree with the OP that prices are ridiculous sometimes. I believe in letting them find their own price instead of having unrealistic expectations and sitting on inventory forever. Almost always I am happy with the winning bid. This one in particular was a home run for me. I bought it at a flea market for $20.

Tom, the only "flaw" I see on my Filli is that the gold etching has been rubbed away. Of course, for some people that is a deal breaker!
Pixel, I DO post in the classifieds but I prefer to reserve the classifieds for entry level shave ready razors. There are always razors in there for 75-150 bucks, but the new guys who want to get their face wet are nervous about dropping that sort of money. So I like to post razors there in the 40-60 range. Its very possible I would have gotten more money listing it in the classifieds and waiting, but that requires both a wait, and a set price which puts it right back into the "whats it worth?" category.

Maybe I will get really lucky, and other dealers will buy my razor at a stupid high price just to prove how expensive their stock is! I mean Valuable, yea, that's the ticket, Valuable!
