My interaction
Sir,
I just wanted to ask if you know the blade is not the original? A bit misleading if someone is new to the sport. It will save you lots of issues if you would change the description of the item.
Thanks for your time.
To all you people out there who think your a genus because you discovered I have a Double Duck Grim reaper razor with a platinum Henkels blade on it I have news for you: Your Not. I am fully aware of the mismatch. I replaced the blade myself because I could not find a DD lifetime replacement blade. The razor is not listed as 100% original or even as original. It is what it is and I have done nothing wrong or deceiving.
I never claimed to be a genius. I said you are bieng misleading and You know it. Lucky for us the word has traveled about your shady buisness. No need to reply. I am done here.

after some interaction with the seller i said it would be beneficial to know the condition of the previous blade mounted in the scales. i mentioned the issues revolving around possible cell-rot. the reply from the seller:
"The original blade was badly broken and had some rust. Actually Razor emporium swapped out the blade for me and didn't mention anything about rot and I am a regular customer of theres with an account. I am sure they did what was needed to prevent this."
to me it looks like the replacement pivot pin is brass, the collars are ss and dont match the originals at all. is anyone familiar with this standard of work from razor emporium?Silverloaf

Hey, I've been looking for a Henckels 401 to replace my original straight from 25 years ago. I would buy this in a minute, but not for $700.
