    Reminds me of the eraser knife my father used to use. I bet it will erase your whiskers.

    At least he called it a "not so straight razor."
    The scales look like they are in pretty good shape, if they don't have insect damage on the inside.

    Or convex. Some people are said to be really good at making matched pairs of those.

    It's a pretty good question why it ended like this. Whoever ground it to this shape probably wasn't planning to sharpen it.

    It's a classic example of what can happen to your razor if you don't tape first.
