There is probably a long list of items that have achieved an unwarranted cult status.....an early one was tulips (the flower, yep). An example from our time is Beanie Babies......the shaving community (or simply collectors) are not immune.

Thank you Sir. Where do you think it needs additional sanding? I sanded and polished this thing for days. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
