I know Rubberset 400s are really going up in price, but...WOW!!!

Right. I have a Rubberset 400 as well as a couple 200s, all of which I restored and reknotted. I also have a couple Simpson brushes, a couple Semogues, and an EJ Super Badger and I don't think I paid that much combined for all mine. Crazy!

Wow! At that price, I have literally given away a bunch of those. I have one left. Kindof proud to have it now!
The knot seems toast. Lots of hand-sanding and polishing will be needed as well as a new knot.
