Cheetah, that Barber's use was reground from a wedge long ago. It lost most of the notch in the process.
I have one which started out much the same. I shortened past the remnants of the notch, relieved the stabilizers, and got a smile back in.
I shortened the scales at the pivot end as well. It made me one of my favorite shavers!
Even if it is only an 8/8

Man that looks amazing!. SO I'm going to send you all of my 8/8's, 9/8's, 10/8 AND 15/8's so that you can make them all look like that.
Great work. I'm waiting for Wullie to chime in. He's the one that started this craze when he outbid me by $6.07 for his 9/8 W. GREAVES and SONS Masonic etched razor. I am scarred for life.

    Cheers

I was stupid for purchasing these but I was intrigued but the thought of another massive masonic straight.

I disagree , those gems will never be made again and if it is within your means to own them, count it as a win !

That's a really sharp looking razor now. No pun intended.

I thought we measured a man's wealth around here by the desirability of his razor collection, not his bank account
