If the 2 planes line up it's fine , of course.
Only being able to go on the pics it looks like the edge bevel is an afterthought

Must say the hairline scratches on the 2 sides are well done.

Sure can! I loaned mine to my local barber to have some fun with. He returned it post haste, with grumbles and bandaids on his face.

Could you please post a pic of the blade "head on" so we can see the profile?

    Thanking you in advance...

Will post a pic tonight. Mine looks like it has that large bevel as do many of the zubora, azuma and tosukes ive seen online but looking at mine head on you cant see any difference in the angle of the grind.

Looking closer at Phranks zubora it does look like a different grind but im thinking its a trick of the light. Could be wrong though... only time will tell.

When it arrives I will post some pics - it's an NOS kamisori, so I'll ask Valery to have a lot at this thread and give his thoughts.

Is there a difference between the two types - Zubora vs. Tosuke or just "brand names"?

They are made from different masters but when you look at some they are so similar I wonder if they use blanks. Im only guessing here so could be way off.

The muted tip gives the illusion of an extra bevel but end on it looks right.

I would definitely shave my forehead with it.
