To Much?
I am looking at a J.A. Henckels Friodur Inox 17 1/2 on EBAY. Just trying to figure out if the price is right. The razor looks clean and the seller has high reviews. I am not worried about shave ready. $189.00 I have heard good things about this razor and it does appear mint.

Nice razor in good shape...it boils down to what you are willing to pay! Price seems a little high but not hugely so. You could always message the seller an offer, worst they can do is say no!
By the way- where in Texas are you? I am near Houston.

From what I've seen that's about right, you may see them go for less but not much. You may want to post in the want to buy in the classifieds. 17 1/2's are pretty common place at the moment so you may want wait a little if you want to pay less.

I am in Kerrville so about 3 hrs away on I10 west. I keep on waiting for Shaptonn (Houston) to throw a get together so us Texas boys can get together.
I thought it may be a pinch high...there have been ten guys watching for a while. It does look really clean I just wanted to make sure the price wasn't way off. I have just been wanting to pick one up and I don't know much about the older razors.Go find an adventure.....

I had one, an 8/8 square point. I like to shave with round points but I never buy them anymore cause I don't like the way they look. If you like round points that is a nice one. TBH the 8/8 I had maybe 5 years ago cost me more, and I sold it for what I had in it. I don't know what the prices are nowadays. I've been out of the buying market for some time now.

Thanked: 4828It does a wee bit of hone wear and appears to be slightly down on the toe. I would not call it mint, but it is still a very serviceable razor. It is also my favorite brand.
