Why if something doesn't sell at 99 would you relist it for 150?
I was thinking the same thing, I waited hoping that the price would drop but it seems it won't.

I like the $300.00 Wade&Butcher that was on there a few days ago!. No razor on E-bay is worth over $50.00 IMHO. Btw my max bids are usually around $30.00 and I research the razor first to see how old can be and also trace down any Identifying marks.

I know the one(s) you are talking about, I have seen this tactic used often, and unfortunately sometimes the higher priced relists actually do sell. This guy doesn't seem to to keep up any sort of knowledge of razor values as random razors are listed for the same prices.

Well they are all just straight razors after all. Aren't they all the same. LOL

Yea, just another sales tactic. Be surprised how many times that works.

It all boils down to "what it's worth to you" . If it wasn't worth 99 and you see it go up 50 offer 50 . This has worked for me :<0) Some are just clueless as to what to ask and afraid their going to give it away. I had 1 seller tell me they had listed it 3 times and never got anything, Then they turn around and send it to me free. NOT very often but it does happen. Especially if I buy something else from them I want.

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

You must not own any big W&B choppers, I assume. There are many razors that are well worth over $50 on eBay. Then again, if you are lucky, you can find a great scores for ~$50. The most money I ever spent on a straight razor was a Dubl Duck Lifetime Grim Reaper. It was actually my most recent purchase, but also the only razor I have paid over $200 for.

Have you seen the $1200 wade and butcher. The funny thing about it are all the cheep new razors with the exact same markings on the blade. It's like the guy put his own etching on the blade. Even the case looks tampered with.

How do you figure they are his own etchings? They look the same as other Masonic W&Bs.

I just love it when they have a super, super cheap price and jack up the shipping....Drives me nuts! Why can one person charge $10 for shipping and they charge $50 shipping...... And the one charging the most lives so much closer?

Is it over there or over yonder?
