The etching looks fine to me, consistent with other period acid etches. I don't see anything suspicious about the razor or case. Price is spot on. If that price is in pennies, that is.

You'd think for US $1,200.00 (Approximately C $1,742.04).....the seller would have better pics?

I keep seeing a bunch of cheep ones that are for shure new with the same etching on it.

It looks like a W&B masonic razor to me. I tried looking for mine earlier, but couldn't find it.

I didn't know they made other masonic w&b. And it's only a guess based on the new ones with the same etching on them.

I believe other brands such as Wostys also have the same etching, but that doesnt mean it is a cheep razor. W&B are just more sought after, hence the more premium prices. But not $1200 premium.

Looks about right I saw the design and didn't bother to look closely.

I wouldn't be surprised if they just used a simple photoresist etching procedure with a direct picture/copy of an original etching. Not hard to do.
