Those are always amusing...watched a few and always scratched my head, $100 increase between two or three people three days before the end...which one(s) were you watching?

Does it really matter if it happens three days out vs 3 seconds out?

I have had two razors that started bidding wars early. I was never paid both times.

To me the tit for tat days out from the end feels like pathetic posturing. I'll take my loss in the last seconds, cypher against cypher. I sometimes wonder if these mock wars aren't conducted by shills

Well some of them are, but some of them are by two guys who just have to see their name as high bidder. Like they're marking their turf. I come in at the last 4 seconds (manually) and enjoy the brief adrenaline rush. I either get it or I don't. No time for a second bid.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

That "rush" for the last few seconds.....Wonderful feeling if you think are going to win..... What a let down when you don't.
