Is it or is it not cell rot?
Look at the heal and tang. Could this be the start of cell rot?
You can see it better in the second pic he posted.

Thanked: 3795I have no idea how old that razor is but the imprintlng suggests not very. I doubt the scales are made of celluloid.

Thanked: 1184Looks more like it was rusted at one time. The tang out past the scales shows the same kind of marks. He states pits in his description but he restored it that way ? hmmmmm

I've bought from that seller before, complete gentleman, stands by product, have exchanged quite a few emails with him in the past and as far as I'm concerned, totally trustworthy. We did something outside eBay and he was rock solid - message him if you have any questions, he will be happy to answer....hope this helps.
