Has bone or Ivory scales with two parrots inlaid in scales, the only etching is OVB on tang, any of you Gent's sent one or possibly know anything about this one?

Hibbard Spencer Bartlett & Co. Take a look they have all kinds of items marked our very best in that font.

I believe those are celluloid scales. Anyway, yeah in this ebay forum you can make it known that you are bidding on it and ask your SRP brothers to lay off. My mother told me she was bidding on a razor she really wanted once and I was glad she did.
I hadn't seen the listing and I was able to snipe it in the last 4 seconds.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 98Funny story. Yep, there are guys that will snipe on you, EVERYWHERE. Did Mom get REvenge on you?
You must think I'm stupid, that's ok. You can have a laugh if you want, guys. I bid like 4$ on the razor to put it on top of my board, was just curious.
Thank you KsSS for the info, I figured it was something like that. Not much can get me down today as I have the Heljestrand I won, NOS with Ivory scales MK#30, got it Cheeep, already shaved with it, stropped factory edge and it was close, so 5 min on Vermio and it was sweet.Last edited by FAL; 06-08-2016 at 04:33 AM.

Fal, all we CAN do is have fun with it.
Your answer is what it goes for, or less.
Don't bid on razors much
I am here to have fun, just me!
Glad you are having fun as well."Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."

Thanked: 18Razor: "Our very Best"
Well. I have been on a razor spree as of late. Sometime I would post a razor which I don't intend to buy here with the hope that more experienced people would chime in on what may look wrong. So I can learn what to look for, saved me from a few v bad buys.

Hibbard Spencer Bartlett & Co. are very good razors and nice shavers. The company later became True Value Hardware.

No problem at all. Like Doughboy86 said they are very fine razors, as a matter of fact my first favorite razor was the HSB I own it was NOS when I got it an it has an ivory covered tang an I believe a double headed eagle.
Congrats on the Heljestrands too I have gotten a few NOS specimens myself off of eBay with ivory scales for next to nothing an they have become some of my best shavers along with that HSB I mentioned.
