inlays are generally just glued in (and not that well i may add). the way i did it was to dunk the scales in boiling water for about a minute and then used a cutitle trimmer (you can substitute anythign else) to pry the inlays off.

bolsters on the other hand require that you unpin the razor first and then remove the inlays.

be warned this method will totally and utterly destroy the scales (shrinkage, warpage etc) so don't use it if you want to salvage them (i'm guessing if you are looking to take inlays off this isn't a big concern)
