    exactly! i was going to ask exactly why the people don't do that.. at the end, they will pay fees only for the sold price, not for the initial buy it now...

    i hate when the vendor says "stay checking cause i will list it as buy it now for you".. i have lost a couple items just like that in the past.. after that when the seller says that i stay there licking like crazy the refresh button... some times they are fast, but other times they take their sweet 15-20 minutes.. even more .. that is time that if you add it to the cost of the item does not worth it..

    i guess at the end, once a price is set on their heads, it does not matter who pays it.. even when yours was the effort of the negotiation....

    A sharp seller will take it out of the original listing IF there are no bids.
    Then, simply send you an invoice for it.

    Good idea. There must be a lot of sellers doing this though where the buyer changed their mind!
    The only time I bought an item like this the seller wouldn't mark it as "reserved for macpilib" or anything. I'm not sure if MAO was an option then.
