    Default !@#$%!

Not so long ago I saw a beautiful Sheffield razor coffin as part of a lot of more items that I had no interest in. It had been on offer for quite a while in an ebay shop. I contacted the vendor and asked whether she was prepared to sell the coffin on its own and she relisted it as a reserved BIN listing.
Before I could bid someone else did !@#$%^!

    Link to the item:

Do not look back. eBay will make you suffer the would-a, could-a, should-a shakes.

My neighbor gave up cigars so my cigar box supply for storing shaving razors has dwindled.
Good for him and his lungs... but darn a good cigar box...

If your ebay name is 2306roos then I would THINK that they would honor your agreement.
If someone else swooped in and bought it when it was CLEARLY marked for you then they are a D!&#.

I have no experience with this type of situation. Maybe the seller should have honored his agreement.

I have been in your shoes, more or less.
I have think the name of the thread sums it up nicely.
The way the ad was written, the person that bought it is a snake in the grass.

I had the same thing happen as the seller. Somebody moved quicker than the buyer. With delays in eBay emails, it happens. I refunded the person's payment and did the second chance thing with the correct buyer.

On the rare occasion when I put up an item specifically for a person, I simply put the item up Buy it now/ BEST OFFER

And I put the Buy it now price up a few hundred dollars more than its worth. Seller sends me his "best offer" of the price we agreed on, I accept. No worries about some other person grabbing it.
