Thanked: 213Over Priced???
I have paid my fair share for Razors but wow this seems a little heavy. Their was a picture that showed the other side of the blade that is not showing up any more that showed pitting I no it is NOS but man that went high http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...7106&rd=1&rd=1
PS no offense meant it probally or might be someone here that but it I have been question more then once for over paying for something "I really wanted

Not overpriced. These are highly prized and this one is in perfectly pristine mint condition.

Thanked: 5ya that picture scared me too... It can be NOS and unopened all it wants but if it was sitting in a humid spot or maybe it was dropped then theres really no point. I would have wanted the seller to open the bag and take pictures of the blade before i paid even half that amount.

That doesn't matter, in fact it's good. People who buy up these want indications of age like that. They don't want to shave with it at all because that would devalue the razor.

Actually for a razor like that I thought it would hit at least $325. Hopefully whoever won the auction will not be in for a shock if they open the bag and find major rust and corrosion on the razor.

i agree with Xman, collectors love items with age identifiers i.e. patina

I have once seen a razor looking like that folded. Unfolded the part of the blade covered by the scales was completely rusted. Diagnosis: celluloid rot.
