I still like them.lol I'm easily impressed and like all varieties. Specially if the price is nice and cheap like this currently would have been. (or relatively so... still about 50 to the house unfortunately.) and I just thought with it being W&B in some silver, it might be worth it? But truthfully, I don't have the money currently to be 'wasting' on single razors. I'd rather be finding lots to work with. Would Rather grow my collection currently than have that one special razor. Maybe in the future i'll slow down on the 'wanting them all' and start looking for single razors.

Thanked: 4822There are a ton of people on eBay peddling junk at high volume. It’s about lots of sales and not about being nice. I think the ask EBay was the first blow off, and not to try to resolve anything. You can’t reason with people that don’t want to talk to you. If they gave a second of consideration to Canadian buyers they wouldn’t be hooked up with global shipping. That is the highest priced pile of crap ever. If they are advertising global shipping don’t bother talking to them or watch listing the item, it is already over priced, and will take a week longer to get to you for triple the cost.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Great advice right there. And I'm new to it all. Have just started looking and dealing through there. A week or so now looking. But you're rigt. Just seems to be a lot of scandals, and very few true gentleman dealers. Still haven't made any purchases for that reason. Either I can't afford them, or it's just to outrageous or scandalous of a deal.

1st razor has a short cutting edge and a long tang. I presume that some steel was removed from the heel end of the blade. Somehow the scales do not look like silver to me. 2nd razor has considerable honewear.

I had never seen a wade of þis style either. But I think it's true. Looks more of a medical razor tho. And the scales are silver. If you trace the stamps on the back of it, it traces them to mean silver, where they are from, and the year 1830. I just find it a strange pair.. like I said, I have never seen a wade of this style, and I'm assuming the scales were a special order, or an after attachment, because it's not a wade and Bucher make.
But yea, after a closer inspection, the line is a bit strange, and the heel may have been ground away to fix a break.
And holy, smokes... it's up over 52... smhLast edited by Wightman; 11-01-2017 at 10:22 PM.

Hmmm just got an email saying this has been relisted. Now for 'buy it now' $195. Kind of shifty to me. What happen to the last deal? Wasn't what he wanted for it, so he cancelled the deal? EBay seems full of snakes the more I look.

You never really know. Buyers back out of deals more than you might think, deals fall through, and then it's up to the seller to recoup their time and investment. I wouldn't just assume the buyer is shifty. But I may be biased because I've gotten burned as a seller before. Who knows
