    Thanks for the heads up.
I have seen his site and eBay listings.
They look amazing and do sell but are obviously fake .

He is now making them look faded as well. He saw on the forums that people were doubting how fresh and perfect his stamps were compared to many vintage ones, so new tactics.

Alex the complex world of Japanese natural stones is difficult for us Westerners to understand. The misuse of the origin markings makes it almost impossible to navigate. The proof you have posted of fraudulent stamps points out again the need to heavily rely upon the integrity of the seller. Buyer beware! Thank you for this great bit of detective work.
Proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance.

thanks Alex, finally the definitve proof.. this guy is simply a NO NO.. he can make fake stamps and sell as if original stones, expect anything from him.. A wise man does not deal with cheaters and counterfeits.

Well a quick update. He "sold" all the Hatanaka stones. Well my friend yourtogiya, if you are reading this post and I know you are because you mentioned SRP on your website, we know you just pulled them off the market. Once a scammer always a scammer. No you didn't sell all your hatanaka stones miraculously overnight. You just proved to us that we were right the whole time.
