Thread: WOWEEEEE!!!!!

Yeah well, at one time that $700,000 house sold for $50,000 also. Today's silver price is just south of $24.50, $24.42 to be exact. That's a nice set even if it is more modern and I actually think the Wade and Butcher Special is a good blade; maybe not xceptional but good. I have actually been trying to amass a collection in good enough condition to make a 7 day set of them. I would pay more than $175 for this set but I'm not paying $3000 for it much less $7000; for it or any other set. I'd like to have it, or more accurately I fancy it, but no matter what it is there comes a point that the price is excessive. Mrz summed it up. After you spend all that money on it are you really going to put it to the stones and risk banging it on the sink or dropping it on the floor like that Crookes I've been working on? If not then what is it good for, to feast your eyes upon?

Probably a wedding, or 25th Anniversary gift.
