To be clear, I have no vested interest in this item. I am not advertising and make no warrants for it. Just...WOW!

You and me both Randy. My guess is that it is being sold by someone who is not a straight shaver, maybe a collector but I doubt that also. Maybe my reasoning is off but I say that because if you were either a straight shaver or even a collector why would you ever sell that set?

I would be happy just knowing someone who owned it. I could be happy being a today...or like the hot chick's ugly friend.

That's outrageous! $7K for a 7 day set of razors???? But you know what, someone will buy them!

The thing is...their commissioned pieces, made for an individual. So IMHO, not a collectors piece, as would be of a 7 day set limited to only so many productions of such razor, sets.

That's what a collectable is, to me.
    These ain't worth 3k, maybe $1500

Value, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. I had to kind of laugh about my brother-in-law. Back during the last housing bubble he was buying a house and he was, of course, indignant about the skyrocketing prices but he would keep saying this thing, "$XXX,XXX XX?!?! THAT'S A $70,000 HOUSE!" Based on what? What you think or remember that it ought to be worth back in whatever day you're stuck in? That house is worth what someone is willing to pay for it which is another way of saying it's worth what the market will bear. And that is also the case with basically everything else. Now, one thing about that set that does give a definable value is the silver itself. Hell, the scrap value of the silver alone, may be $1, 000.00.

with my luck, I would knock the blade of the first one into the faucet on the first shave.
